Des Moines Iowa area- where to ride?

I'm looking to get back into riding & am wondering what areas around dsm Iowa I can ride? Also, any company's in the area that will rent out dirt bikes? Thanks!

I would also like to know! I live in the Rockford Area of Illinois but travel to DSM frequently because my fiancé is from there and her family all resides there. Would love to bring my bike out sometime and check out some new tracks!

Winterset IA has a pretty sweet looking track if you happen to catch em on a practice weekend

I know this forum is relatively dead but I did the harescramble here and the place was awesome. From pit talk I heard they had 20$ day passes which isn't bad for a huge park. A ton of fun single track, wide open field, and a pretty fun MX track. Definitely worth checking out.

I went to Bluff Creek once as a beginner last year, had a good time.  There's more places to ride in central Iowa than here in Nebraska. Anything really nice is 3 hour drive.
