Spark, fuel....no start

Recommended Posts

This is driving me mad. 2000 yz426f. Recently cleaned the carb and adjusted the valves. Night I finished it it fired up and ran no problem. Went to kick it over and all it would do is backfire out the exhaust. Wouldn't kick over. Pulled plug and grounded to the head and verified I had spark. Gave a nice blue one. Checked timing and it was spot on. Pulled the head and verified the valves weren't bent. Gets fuel because passage to the intake valves is wet with it. What the hell is wrong with my bike???

Clear the cylinder (kick it over with the throttle wide open and the kill button on) several times, and start again.

Is it possible its being overloaded with fuel?
