I'm buying a used GPR damper and I've seen on videos it comes with a white plastic looking dust cover that goes over the steering stem bearings. The one I'm buying does not come with it.Is this just something simple I can make from a trip to the hardware store? Thanks

I was slightly interested.

Out of interest, how much did you pay?

And looking a GPR's site and to quote

"As with most hydraulic units, sooner or later you’ll need a service to change the fluid, replace the seals and inspect for unusual wear"

https://www.gprstabilizer.com/support/

I'd be more worried about hydraulic fluid blowing into my face

Well after looking high and low I bought a low hour GPR with the mounting kit for 299.00 New was kinda out of buget for my old ktm. I had found some dampers used for 200 but without the mounding kit which was another 150.00 for that. I haven't rode it yet but playing with it on the stand it's seems to work great.
