08 YZ250f Fuel Elbow Connector

Recommended Posts

This is for a 2008 YZ250F: I have seem to of bent my fuel hose elbow connector that goes into the side of the carburetor. Rocky Mtn ATV OEM parts does not have this part listed as available and when I contacted them they said its only sold with the full carburetor assembly. Sooooo, does anyone know where I could find a replacement or does anyone have one for sale? Thanks.

Often times, you can check with other bike brands to find parts like this one.  I see Kawasaki lists an elbow for the 2008 KXF250 and Honda for the CRF250F.  No guarantee that it's the correct part, of course.

Great idea. I actually have a 2005 CRF250r sitting in the garage and pulled it's fuel elbow and it seems to be the same. I went ahead and ordered it so will report back if it works. :)

JetsRus  carries individual parts for FCR carbs.

Here's that elbow.. http://www.jetsrus.com/individual_parts/021_744_su.html

Here's their site..http://www.jetsrus.com/index.html

When installing the new elbow, make sure you use new O rings. A little dab of grease helps with the install.

You need three of them. http://www.jetsrus.com/individual_parts/018_755_su.html

I've actually had those O rings rot out, probably due to crappy gas. Left little chunks of black crud lodged between my float needle & seat, causing carb to overflow.

Not a bad thing to check every once in a while.

Also great info, thanks. In fact when I pulled the elbow all the o-rings had rotted and fell out in pieces. Good thing I was doing a carburetor cleaning anyways.

I was surprised how expensive these tiny elbows are, kinda ridiculous to charge $30 for it, but whatever.

UPDATE: The Fuel elbow connector and O-rings from a 2005 CRF 250R fit perfectly on my 08 YZ250F. The section of the elbow that connects to the gas line is slightly different ( slant angled rather than 90*), but all functions 100%.
