Chain guard for road Use.

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I'm new here and just had a question about chain guards for the top of the swingarm. I have a 2007 KTM 450exc motard.

Just wondering what everyone else uses, I've seen a fair few like this >> will post a photo. Cheers. Screenshot_2017-04-03-20-39-38.png

I've seen plenty of the stock KTM sliders on the top of the swing arm. Very useful if you have a tire rubbing issue. I, however, just cut the left hand edge of my tires down with a razor blade.

I have an '08 450 EXCR supermoto and haven't had any problems with my chain rubbing my tire. I have a 4.25" rear and I believe a 160 tire on the back. I found that my old chain when I got the bike used, had destroyed the knobbies and the mud flap.
