Hey all. From what I've read about the valves needing replacement around 300 hrs.. there not kidding. Here is an intake valve with 302 hrs. Never been raced either.

once a valve has been through about 3 adjustments, its getting close to end of life. I wonder how many times that valve has been adjusted?

normally intakes wear excessively via dirt ingestion.

I took the head to a engine building shop. They said the seats just needed a touch up. And not the change them

Well that is good. Valves and seals are pretty cheap.  Are they putting a set of stock valves back in?

He has problems putting new seats in aluminum heads. No I'm putting in kibblewhit valve, springs and new valve guide in

just had piston changed at 265 on 2015 350 valves lo0ked great and have never been adjusted, del west are the best valves. thats all I would use they last twice most others....

Yup, that's an RFS thing to get knife edged so soon.  Put some good quality aftermarket SS valves in there and you're golden.  And CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN intake tract!
