How do I remove linkage bearings??

Recommended Posts

So recently I decided to replace my shock linkage bearings in my CRF150R and in the longer piece (not the one with 3 bearings) I noticed their is a lip in the middle dividing the two bearings and it is apart of the piece it self so it cant be removed so I was wondering how I get these 2 bearings out? Also I dont think a punch and hammer is going to work. I say this is a bad design as it should be smooth all the way through.

can you post a picture? It should be smooth all the way through. You just push it out with a press. If it def isn't then you have to use a blind bearing puller. I really doubt that you can't push them straight through though. Never seen one that couldn't be pushed through, that doesn't mean they aren't out there though. Are you sure you aren't feeling the back side of the bearing race, they are one piece bearings.
