Help...kx250

I have a 2013 kx250 my chain is chewing in to the case at the front sproket. What is causing this? The chain has 2" of slack at the rear of the guide.

Something does not add up. Sounds like you are using the wrong size sprockets or chain.

I got it last night. I just picked this bike up. And never really noticed any noise until my brother rode it yesterday. I had him shut it down, and started inspecting. I could see where the chain was eating in to the primary. I went ahead and took the front sproket off, and found out that some jackass installed the sproket backwards. Now I will be buying both front and back sprockets and a chain just to be safe.
