2007 yz250f intake cam seems stiff to turn

I'm rebuilding a 2007 yz250f and the intake cam seems a little stiff to turn but I'm wondering if it's fairly normal since there's more contact on the head because there's 3 valves there instead of 2 put a straight edge up to it to see if it's warped but I didn't see that it was. When it warms up will it loosen up? Is this normal?

Are the cam journal caps the original ones?

Are they put back in their original positions?

As far as I know yes they are the original ones and yes

Are the valves out of spec with no clearance? If there dragging from the cam caps being tightened down you can use fine sand paper and clean up the bearing mating surface

Sometimes when you reassemble, the cam & ball bearing isn't positioned just right and it can turn a bit stiff.  I've found that tapping the camshaft back & forth with the plastic end of a larger screwdriver will find a happy position where the cam turns easier.

Turns out assembly lube isn't slippery enough I put oil in instead of assembly lube and it turned fine after that
