2010 No Spark

Recommended Posts

So I rebuilt my bike two weeks ago and didn't get to start it until last weekend. It fired right up and ran it through the break-in process and all was well. I put it up and went back to college and got home this weekend and decided I was going to ride. I pulled it out of the garage and tried to fire it up but it wouldn't fire. I've been through the stator and coil with a multimeter and disconnected the kill switch to eliminate that and still no spark. Also replaced the spark plug to see if that could be the problem. Any suggestions? Should I just go ahead and buy a cdi off ebay or somewhere?

So I went through everything again with the multimeter and I also ordered a wiring harness with a cdi and coil to double check everything and still no spark. Is a resistance check of the stator sufficient? It is well within spec on the resistance readings, I just don't have a DVA/PVA to check the voltage coming from it. I also checked all the wires on the stator to make sure that that they were not grounded out.
