So Yeah, Forgot about the Rekluse

Well, figure I'm not the first, but here we go. 

Got a Rekluse, totally forgot about it and started it in first, grabbed some throttle and next thing you know bike is in the garage wall storage shelf haahahhahaah.

Anyways on the graceful act of returning to the ground the shift lever, hit the crank case and put a nice little dime size hole in it. 

No worries it was scuffed and scraped and a new one would look nicer anyways ha, my only question.....

 

The little filter screen would have caught any metal chunks before entering into the engine correct?  Is there anything I need to worry about other than replacing, filling and cranking her up?

LMAO, sorry but I busted out laughing when I read that

Did you find all the metal?  I would imagine the pieces would be too big to go anywhere that would cause any damage.  What year is the bike?

I would definatley try and find the peice of metal or make sure its not floating around in the motor.
