Eagle Mfg. choke lever relocating bracket.

Recommended Posts

Was really pleased with the Eagle Mfg. Relocation bracket for the choke lever on the KLR 650.  Under $20.  Easy install. Helps protect that plastic housing on the choke lever by getting it out from under the bar and up behind it.  Also gives you a new threaded hole if you want to move your mirror over,  or like I'm going to do,  mount a Ram ball in there for another accessory mount. 20170423_134105.jpg.053c6f29a0df929d23928f3c86f43f7a.jpg

I personally always liked having the choke up on the bar rather than putting in the knob on the carb . That one was in a sketchy spot for sure . I'm trying out some of these on both my KLX650's that now have FCR's but I refuse to keep the knob that I can't operate while on the bike , too buried up under the tank and wires .  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zeta-Rotating-Bar-Clamp-Hot-Start-Lever-CR-CRF-KX-KTM-RM-RMZ-YZ-WR-250R-450R-250-/331591580080?hash=item4d3465f9b0:g:WR4AAOSwjVVVjUpk&vxp=mtr

They'd also work for the klr choke I'd bet . Mine are being installed with CRF hot start cables and oem choke plunger put on the end.  If your choke cable has the plastic nut yet it can be replaced with an aluminum one to prevent cracking and air leak from it. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=fcr+choke&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.H0.Xfcr+hot+start.TRS0&_nkw=fcr+hot+start&_sacat=0
