Crf250l supermoto vibration after wheel conversion

Recommended Posts

New mods put on were warp9 rims with 140/70/17 in back, 110/70/17 in front, stock 14 front sprocket, 40 back sprocket(came with rim). Also put a kouba lowering link(shorter rider).  Now the vibration is numbing on my feet.  Is that normal.  Very new to motorcycle riding.  Crf250l has 600 miles with mods-ejk, air box holes, k&n, and yosi full exhaust.  Didn't notice numbing vibrations with stock rims and tires.  Thanks for any info

A dirtbike/dualsport thumper will have vibration from the solid mounted engine and solid pegs. Unlike some big thumper/adventure bikes that will have rubber inserts in the footpegs to lessen the vibration. you shouldn't have vibration from the wheels that would provide that kind of vibration. Wheels out of balance typically would be felt in the seat or handlebars. I don't know that the 250l has a balance shaft , those add weight but lessen the vibrations of the motor, typically not used on a dual sport for weight savings.
