Or will Tomac solidify the championship out of luck that Dungey has been a wimp since the KRoc crash? The 2016 Dungey would have clinched the title by now.

I would think that 2016 Dungey at least wouldn't have been caught from 15th.

Dungey gapped the field with roczen in 17 , he's not been the same since he saw roczen go out

The toll that all of this racing/training takes is Epic. I don't blame anyone for getting out in good shape, especially one that is a multi-time Champion! He's proven time & time again that he is one of the best ever, and I am glad I got to witness it. Way to go Champ!!

Dungey is not going to take unnecessary chances when he knows that he can't beat Tomac right now. Some times you need to know when to say Uncle.   Dungey had a great career. He is a all timer.

thing is this was Tomac's area, high elevation.

now that being said he ran a great race, 15th on the first lap to first on the 18th...nobody can deny the dude is fast and smooth... more so than in the years past.

I just hope when KR returns these 2 battle it out every race.

RV had no prob after a bad injury coming back and owning Dungey . 

Tomac came back from a bad injury and is also owning Dungey . 

How about you put down the meth pipe .

Hell RV even led his last 80 laps on a SX track / 4 main event in a row on one leg , yet A healthy Dungey didn't lead one of them .

Dungey is going as fast as he can.  He still has a shot. Anything can happen.

Also, What happens next year if Tomac wins against the least talented field in SX history?  Will Tomac be considered a fraud because of a week field?
