Tubliss question

Recommended Posts

Are any or you running 0psi in the tire of your tubliss system? I'm running a 18" Dunlop at81 at 0psi in the tire with the tubliss system. I have 5 rides on it now and I have not had any issues. Over extended use will I run into any issues?

I used to run my MT43 at 0 psi for certain sections of difficult rocky up hills where I really need the bite. I would air up to 5ish PSI after the section tho. I don't like how the tire wallows in corners at 0 psi. I also agree with what Alaskan said. Carry a few 12g CO2 cartridges and an adapter in your bag. Being able to adjust tire pressure on the trail is great, especially this time of year.

It is a good idea to run a couple ounces of Slime to act as a lubricant. If you do much high speed the out section of the tubliss will start to scortch from rubbing on the inside of the tires so much. Some Slime will keep this from happening.
