New 125L questions

I picked up a 2003 DRZ125L, and while it does run, it's a MOFO to kick over... almost impossible, actually. Guy I got it from said the carb was pretty filthy, but he cleaned and rebuilt it. I think he didn't clean it well enough, plus it has factory jets and a ProCircuit T4 on it. I am having the carb cleaned by a shop to make sure it really is clean, and the valve clearance is fine. I am thinking it's a combination of either the carb wasn't totally cleaned, and it needs a jet kit, or it just needs a jet kit period.

The question is, will the ProCycle jet kit solve the problem?

Throw away the pilot jet and get a new one, and one that is one size larger also.  Check jetting thread for more info
