Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the bearings out of the linkage arm? I've pressed the linkage bearings out with a vice and the arm is the last that I need to do. It looks from the outside that it tapers into a smaller diameter. Can these be pressed all the way through? On a kx 250f.

Most linkage arm designs require a 'blind bearing puller' to remove them.

You can try cutting thru the bearing races with a tiny Dremel cut-off wheel and then prying them out.

I tried that once but in vain, messed up the arm off my CRF250X pretty bad,

it was a good excuse to buy a CRF3 Kouba lowering link with new bearings already installed instead!

If you have an arc or Mig welder at home, I think there's a trick in tacking it and making the outer race 'shrink' as it cools.
