2008 KLX110 problems

Just went thru and cleaned up a 2008 KLX110 that had been sitting for several years fora buddy of mine. Changed oil and filter, new brakes, new plug, new Carb, new air filter. Figured it would fire right up but it wont start. Its got spark, compression, new gas, on/off switch in in the right position... just cant get it to even sound like it wants to start. Anyone have an experience with these bikes?

Humm? amusing the carb is set right, you say the bike was sitting several years, did you check and the tanks *petcock, disconnect the fuel line and see if fuel comes out?

Spray starting fluid into where the air filter goes in the carb. If the bike starts then that means it starting on the starting fluid and it isn’t getting gas from the tank.
