Stator issues

Hi everyone, I've got an issue with a 2006 Yz450f recently it's decided to not start I went through the usual problems and narrowed it down to the stator (source coil 1 had low resistance) or so I thought I bought an aftermarket one. I installed it and and went to start it still no joy I rechecked the new stator and found it was knackered as well.. anyway I need to know whether the procedure attached is accurate
