What do you use to clean and condition your riding boots?

What do you use on the leather and plastic of your riding boots to keep them in good condition?  I know some of you use dirt and water...

Pre-treat it with some Spray-n-wash and then hit them with the pressure washer for the moto boots. For my leather trials boots...soap/water and a brush...then oil them up with some of my White's boot oil.

Dish soap and the occasional scrubbing with a soapy 'SOS' pad on discolored white surfaces.

The soles have always worn out way before any leather or plastics have shown wear.

I had some plastic on the top of my trail boots crack, so I tried Mother's VLR (vinyl, leather, rubber) cleaner and conditioner to help prolong the life of my Tech 8s.

Hose with sprayer attachment, this ain't no model on the catwalk bs sometimes car wash soap

Mink oil! Use it on any of my leather boots!

rain x car wash and hose. Bike and gear all get washed at the same time.

That is good for the leather.  What about the plastic?

My Sidi crossfires came with instructions stating not to use any cleaners or soaps on them. Just a wet rag I believe... 

I silicone spray them after every few rides though, keeps em looking like new!

Im not aware that any product would extend the life of the plastic parts but for the leather areas, I've used ball glove oil, neatsfoot oil, (not sure if thats a brand name or not. Any boot oil for leather boots would do.

I've found and used several conditioners for leather but it is more difficult to find a product for conditioning plastics.  I've seen tire foam and silicone grease mentioned.  My old Astars boots have some cracks in the plastic so I'm more concerned about that.  The leather doesn't seem to need much care.  I may try the tire foam next as I think the silicone grease will collect too much dirt.

Now that sounds like a good combination!  Riding boots are made of at least leather, plastic and rubber, and each material should get the proper conditioner for that material.

Read a post on vital about this and it said that simple green is bad for the plastic or leather (?) and use shout. I don't know how true that is but I use shout for my sg12

I haven't tried this, but I would think a product like Armor All, or similar products would be good for rubber, and plastic on your boots, and leather conditioner for the leather??
