yz250 clutch issues

Recommended Posts

cable broke in my clutch, went to replace and the arm that the cable connects with in the ignition case is slack. arm was not slack when i first took the broken cable out. waited a few days to replace the cable because it had to be shipped and went to replace it and now its like that. im assuming this is the push rod that initiates the plates to do their thing, but i just dont know where to go from here. havent messed with anything just yet as i wasnt sure what to do.

When you rotate the arm counterclockwise up just passed level it doesn't stop? It would be slack until it's up just passed level then it should stop/run into resistance.
