97 cr250 clutch actuator lever seal

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a quick write up to replacing the clutch actuator lever seal. I have an issue where there is gear oil in the stator side.

Thanks

You have to removed clutch cover pressure plate, rod (goes thru basket and connects to clutch actuator), stator cover, stator and fly wheel. Once you removed the flywheel you should be able to pull the clutch actuator lever out and then replace the seal

Awesome , thank you . I was just unsure if the rod had to be removed to release the actuator, was hoping all could be completed through the stator side . Thanks again for confirming . I was also searching through online manuals i couldn't even find any information on the clutch actuator .
An looking on the schematics I was unclear if the rod had to be removed as the actuator is on the crank case diagram and the rod is on the clutch one separate from each other .
