OHV Campgrounds

Recommended Posts

Anybody have knowledge on Northern/Central Utah OHV areas with established campgrounds? I know bountiful peak/Farmington canyon has a few but they're still closed for the season. If anybody's got some, reply with the location and type of riding. Will be camping with an F-150, RZR 570, and KX 250. Thanks!

Anything up north will be shut down for a while longer. How far are you willing to drive? What kind of terrain do you want? I assume by established you mean with restrooms?

Here's what's within 2 hours of SLC
-Knolls out by Wendover
-Simpson spring along pony express
-little Sahara sand dunes
-5 mile rec area

Established as in physical campgrounds. Probably 2-3 hours tops for driving. I want to be able to have some cover since I am tent camping and know it'll get hot. As far as terrain goes, double track with some rocks, light sand, dirt, and mixture of that. And maybe some jumps?..
