What is my XR100R worth?

Recommended Posts

Yep kbb or nada is a fair price, people now adays want more than they pay for the bike. If it was old then that's a totally different story due to the inventory out there but yours isn't. I would ask a few hundred more than book and let them think there getting a good deal when they offer book value.

We've bought (and sold) hundreds of XR100s & XR80s.
We never pay more than $600 for a GOOD bike, like yours.
We paid as little as $100, ave price is about $350.
We part most of 'em out.
We've never been able to sell even a MINT, late model CRF100 for more than $800.
Parting an XR100 nets us about $1400.

Guess it depends where you are located at, I would imagine that different areas have different pricing.

Usually, price is driven by demand.

Unless you are super lucky, you will NOT find a XR100 in Northern California for the prices you have provided.

We're about 2 hrs from Sacramento, we buy tons of bikes there.
We've had guys bring bikes to us from Sac.

Well, I guess you are a better negotiator then.

When I check craigslist, I do not see a single XR100 advertised for 600 bucks or below in the condition ours is in.

We wait a week or so, go look at the bike.
Most are priced at $800 to $1000 but they don't seem to sell, we offer $500 and usually get the bike.
From the pictures your does seem really nice.
Again we've never been able to sell even a super nice XR100 for more than $800.
We'd love for these bikes to sell for $1000, would be much easier for us.
FYI - wash under the fenders, a clean bike sells better than one needing sprayed off.
