Bout a 03 yz450f from a guy. he said the cam slid over. he was right but he didn't tell me he turned it over after the retaining clip fell down in the engine. Flywheel is completely destroyed. Stator doesn't look damaged. With the flywheel and stator off the crank turns easy and doesn't make any noise. Is it possible for the flywheel metal shavings to cross over the bearing and get in the crank and tranny? and is it possible that my stator is good?

If the stator has no visible scars on it, you can run the resistance tests prescribed in the manual. If it passes them, it's a good bet.

The metal particles will have washed from the generator cavity down into the sump, and anything small enough to pass the pick up screen will have then been pumped into the oil tank (in the frame).  The feed line running from the tank to the engine has a filter screen built in, and after that, there is the engine oil filter.  Since the entire system including the trans is pressure fed, there is a fair chance that most of the really bad stuff was caught before it got into the works, but your best bet would be to break it down and clean it out, including flushing out the frame tank.
