Decided to pull the trigger and install the lights and make a harness. Now I need to go pick up the plate and I will be ready for when the snow melts in the PNW

I have a friend getting ready to plate a XR200 and there appears to be some huddles with the inspection process that differ from the RCW. Let us know how the inspection goes and how you were treated at DOL.

I already went through it with my xr600r. Was easy. Blinkers horn Dot lights and tires. $50 for inspection and couple hundred for license stuff. And mirrors.

I had to plate my bike also because I refuse to buy green sticker for Calif. Hard to plate in Ca and expensive. Not needing lic plate in Baja is cool ride on Hiway no problem. Take bike in truck across border to Ca no problem. Then the problem Mexico wont let you in Country without current Reg. So mine is plated in South Dakota no inspection or Ins to get plate.
