I bought a 2008 WR250F last fall, trying to get it ready for riding and want to quiet it down. Previous owner swapped the exhaust out for a louder exhaust off a 450 I think since that is what is stamped on the muffler. Any idea how to quiet it down?

Looks like it is off a 99-2002 WR400 or WR250

It's from a 2003 WR450F.

You're missing the outlet baffle for sure, and possibly somebody cut-up the spark arrestor screen under that bolt-on end cap.

Have a look inside.

Spark arrestor appears untouched. Where can I get a baffle? I've tried searching, but I must be doing something wrong as I can't find the piece. At least not one that looks like it fits this exhaust

Thanks for helping ID the bike make and year for the muffler. I have a GYTR baffle coming. Hopefully it will quiet the bike down to where it is reasonable. While I was at it I ordered quiet cores for my XR400 and sport quads. The sport quad quiet cores were way cheaper than the dirt bike ones.
