Throttle position "Re-grip"

So I've been slowly getting faster and faster lap times by cornering better. I'm at the point I have to go for theses doubles as rolling them is killing my entry speed. Are you guys regripping at every corner? I'm very familiar with the technique as it is required to get my 99 VFR800 to wheelie. Also used for my MX starts, but once I return to "normal" grip at 1st Turn I stay there....even grabbing 4th gear on back straight for long table (just a couple feet short) to compensate. I believe if I could get full throttle, 3rd would be plenty.

Any advice, tips? Am I overlooking something?

I struggle with the regrip. I think it's just going to take time to learn to do it, but a pretty good bandaid is a g2 quick turn throttle. It might actually be hindering my learning to regrip, but I can get to full throttle with my regular grip.

Gary's videos have good practice stuff on it. I need to put more time into going slow and practicing that.
