'86 engine in '96 frame

It'll bolt right in , BUT the early motors had the twin carbs and the later had a single. The twin carb frames have the shock in the middle and the 2 air intakes are on either side. The later single carb frames have the shock offset to the left and the carb offset to the right. You need a single carb head for your motor , unless you can fab a one off , 1 into 2 intake manifold to let you use a single carb on your dual carb head.
