'13 KX250F idles for 10-15 seconds or so, then cuts out

Recommended Posts

Just as the title says. Took it to the track the other day, didn't want to idle longer than 10 or 15 seconds without dying. When I kept the revs up it would keep running, but as soon as I got back down to idle it would die.

Im coming off an '06 CRF250R and I'm not exactly used to all the electrical components in these newer models, can anyone help me out on where to start with troubleshooting this thing?

Tried it at the track, didn't work. Also, the idle setting was just fine last time I was riding, didn't change it at all.

Heard a lot about this tip-over sensor on the EFI bikes... could that be the issue? The last time I took it out, I brought it home and washed it pretty well, could that have messed with any electrical components? Only reason why I'm so concerned about it being an electrical issue is the fact that it runs so well when the revs are up, but as soon as it's idling it dies shortly after.
