DRZ250 not getting spark

Never had this problem before but now I'm having it. Pulled plug and hit starter, no spark.

 

I'm not good with electrical work. I changed ignition coil. What and how do I check first, second and third?

First I'd clean out all of your electrical contacts. Then I'd check the cdi/stator/magneto with a multimeter and replace whatever is wrong
