Engine oil pour from exhaust

Recommended Posts

I have a 1994 Kx 250 that has what appears to be engine oil coming out the front exhaust port. The engine has a pretty much brand new top end. New piston/rings. I replaced an exhaust valve, the second looked fine. I bought a refinished cylinder head. New gaskets. I have no clue why it would do this, and it's not the regular 2 stroke exhaust black oil that leaks. This is thick oil

it might be leaking from between the cases and sucking transmission oil or a faulty right side crank seal

you might need to do a pressure test to work out where its coming from

search how to pressure test a 2 stroke or go over to the honda 2 stroke forum , it is a sticky at the top of the page

sounds like your pipe isn't sealing against the exhaust flange. Im willing to bet your pipe is dented up.
