clutch

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I have a ktm xc 250 09 and my clutch is bad. Just bleeded it, no air. Fresh oil but when I pull the lever in it doesn't feel like it's engaging. When I start the bike and pull the lever in then put it in gear it doesn't engage. any ideas on how to fix?

I'm presuming you mean doesn't disengage (release). If you truly don't have an air bubble in the system (they can sometimes hide very well), I'd be looking at the master cylinder as possibly being bad.

plates might be stuck together (dry) , notched basket , or warped plates or fibers

has it still got the shitty aluminum plates in there ?

My piston on that compresses the pin was stuck. I had to get a new one and it works great. I could hardly get it out. I bled it and checked plates... It gtook a while to figure it out. I noticed while pushing it in to bleed the clutch that it never popped out like people warned about.

The piston on the slave could be sticking as i stated above.. Kinda
