Spokes

Recommended Posts

Anyone notice all these weird, random changes to spoke/hub/rim part numbers for the 91-96 xr250l and 96-04 250r? The 96 and 04 use the same hub, but different spokes, and the 97-03 use the same hub, and same spokes as 04, with the exception of the 02, which uses the same hub as the 97-03, but different spokes than the 97-04. and some of xr250l models use the same spokes as the 96-04, but others are different... and I've only researched the rear wheel so far!

My bike is a foreign model and uses the same front spokes as the 91-96 xr250l, and half the rear spokes are the same as a 94-96 or something 250l, and the other side are the same as a couple years from the 2008-2009 crf250l or something...

So my question is...

Does this shit really matter? I'm getting a headache trying to figure out what spokes might fit my bike. shouldn't they all be close enough in length to work?????????

What aftermarket spokes do you guys use?

anyone with an xr250r, or xr400, try these Moose spokes?

They are the cheapest ($50 front and $50 rear), and supposedly compatible with the 89-04 xr250r, as well as the 400, and some years of the 600 and 650.

Any fitment issues??
