Over heating

Recommended Posts

Bought brand new 2016 CRF450R I have about 5 hours of use on it, fired it up today to change the oil and about 2 minutes into idol header got cherry hot and started spitting coolant out the Overflow. Any ideas why before I call the dealership?

don't let it idle anymore than about 30 seconds. If they are not moving they get blistering hot.....fast. A dealer is just going to tell you that's normal. as it pretty much is on these bikes

If i let my bike idle for any period of time to do work on it, i put a huge industrial fan in front of it.
