Can I ride an MX BIKE ON LIGHT ENDURO TRAILS

Recommended Posts

I have a YZ 85 with a flywheel weight (I heard it helps for MX bikes in woods) but I enjoy riding over logs and riding in the woods so I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to take a MX bike on light enduro trails

That will be a good bike for the trails because it's lightweights and has the flywheel weight just make sure to hover the clutch

You might want to re-jet a bit leaner on the pilot and needle circuits and,

use a low flash point premix oil (Lucas, Interceptor) to prevent plug fouling.

Going to a smaller countershaft sprocket is also a cheap experiment,

allowing for more grunt at the cost of some top speed.

Soften up your suspension clickers settings.
