I'm thinking of building a rm 400 all I have is a motor its in pretty good shape It need new piston and crank bearings its still std bore I got this motor in a trade it was on a lt250r I'm going to try  and find rest of bike if I cant find it ill need a frame any 1 no where any r

Ebay or Craigslist will be your best bet. Your probably better off finding a complete bike. Buying pieces will end up costing you more, and some parts may be very hard to find. If the motor needs top and bottom end there could be other problems you haven't seen either. 

Before you start any project sit down and figure out a budget you are willing to spend. Then figure out what you need and what it is going to cost then add 50% or double that. There is no point in starting a project if you can't finish it.
