Toasted Hare - AMA Requiredments?

I'm planning to race the Toasted Hare on Saturday.  It is the first AMA sanctioned race I've done.  I see there is a tech inspection requirement.  I looked through the rules and it said no kickstands unless it is a cross-country race.  Do any of you TT'rs know if they are allowed or not in a scramble?  Also does anyone know if a number plate is required?

Most the bikes there will be orange and have kickstands, so yes. 

Unless your in the series and racing for points you do not need a number.
