2013 KX250F - Sketchy Purchase??

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to buy a bike and get a good deal in the process.  I found one that seems REALLY nice but is it to good to be true?  The guy says he's a vet, 61 years old, raced it in a few over 50 races, and has recently purchased a new bike.  The bike obviously looks clean but has no title and engines are several thousands of dollars to replace.  Would you buy or run for the hills?

I don't buy anything without a title (that was titled).  I don't understand why all these people expect someone to buy without one.  If you lost the title, go get a replacement and then I'll buy it.  If that title turns up in someone else's hands 3 months from now, it's not your bike.  The entire point of a title is to establish ownership.
