Recommended Posts

So here goes.  Valves in spec, carb fully cleaned. Motor fresh and tight. So here goes. Bike was running great. High comp with 05 hrc cam and shut off.  Left for over 30 days when go to start nothing. Kick and kick every so often backfire with flame from exhaust.  So cleaned carb completly and checked valve clearance wich was in spec. Do not understand why ran so well but left for a month it changes.  I cleaned tank fresh fuel oil and filter.  Don't no now.  Any help would be great

The pilot jet circuit is probably plugged from sitting. Now, if you get it started and it black fires and throws flames out the exhaust, its because you put the vacuum release plate on the slide, upside down. You're better off looking than swearing you didn't and chasing your own ass all over the garage for 3 weeks.

Will give another cleaning today but cleaned it when taken from storage for the 30 days and fresh fuel used
