In my previous topic I mentioned oil spraying from the head of the exhaust...However I need advice on how I should prevent the oil from leaking from this connection on the exhaust

its missing the silicone joiner that you cable tie around each end

then you need to jet the bike correctly because instead of leaking out there it will leak out the silencer

what bike is it on ?

Thanks, kxrob this is a 1998 RMX250...When I bought the bike I just went and replaced a few things like the carb, however the new carb wouldn't allow the bike to Idle. So I stuck the original carb back on the bike

The original part youre after is  14771-28C02

you could probably seal it up in the meantime with some high temp silicon

The Idle on the new carb wasn't like the original carb...The new carb idle screw and choke were separate...So I'd turn the idle screw but the bike would't idle up any so I couldn't keep it running...So I had to put the old carb back on just to get the bike to stay running
