Nevada to CA title transfer - Baja Kit

Has anybody had any success buying a dirt bike converted with a Baja kit and plated, and was able to register it in California?

 

I've found a WR450f on CL and have made an appointment to see it. But the plate is registered for Nevada. The owner said he kept it registered there because he heard it might be difficult in CA.

 

Now it has a head light and working blinkers, as well as a speedometer. It's also a 2003 if that has any play in it.

 

Anybody know if it's worth looking at?

take  the  serial numbers , frame and engine,  hope  your a AAA  member  and have  them  run  them to see if it  will fly.  if you go to the DMV  and it  doesn’t  you will not  have  a second  chance.   it’d will b  red  flagged.       take it from me on  long  unregistered bikes  and or out of state.   hope this helps.
