Dirt Biking The Rubicon.

Recommended Posts

I've been from Loon to Rubicon Springs and back on the dirt bike. Dozens of times in my built Toyota PU and Jeep Wrangler LJ.

Lots more enjoyable in a vehicle drinking beer. You'll get sick of rocks on the bike, maybe a younger rider with advanced skills would find

it fun. I won't even go now in the Jeep. too many squids and traffic.

Its on my bucket list .

Even thought I know it can be done back and forth in just a few hours I want to make it a two day thing . Figure I will go when my Jeepin buddies go and they carry my beer, food and backpacking equipment .

I'm just in for the high country scenery , lots of little alpine lakes to go explore and I should have plenty of time while the Jeeps average maybe like 3 miles and hour .

friend of mine did it on his KTM 950 Adventure.
i'd be up for the challenge!

If someone is willing to buy knobbies for me I'll try it on my mighty salvage title vstrom 1000.

Also I'll need people to help pick the bike up when it's on it's side.

if there was a gofundme page set up for this, i would happily pitch in to see this happen.

i'd probably even attend just to say i saw it happen.
