mil light flickering

The mil light on my 011 250R is flickering very weak and at million miles a hour. As I bring up the revs it gets brighter with a 012 Vortex ignition i noticed a while ago it was also flickering very weak with the a standard ignition in the dark. It is taking 5-6 kicks to start cold as well.
