Okay so i have a 97 kx 125 that i got off craigslist cheap only to find out it was a typical craigslist deal. Wrong year parts, mismatched everythint, the whole nine yards. But besides the point, a few of my rear spokes are loose but when i go to tighten then, they seem seized. Like the nipple will turn in the rim but the whole spoke itself twists. Anyone know any special secrets wbout freeing them up? Any help is great. Thanks in advance

Had the same problem rebuilding my 450sx - hold the spoke in a strong vice - put a bit of heat on them - like a blowtorch - the use your spoke wrench and undo then that way

let the nipples soak in something like wd40 crc etc first

you will snap some spokes - its inevitable

Spray them with penetrating oil and let them soak first, then hold the spoke with vise grips so it cant spin while you tighten it with a wrench. If they still wont budge use heat.

I've done this to a couple of bikes without even taking the tire off the rim or the wheel off the bike.
