2011 YZ125 Jetting in Colorado (elevation)

Recommended Posts

We just moved to the Denver Colorado area (Berthoud) from southern California and have started playing with the jetting on my sons YZ125 and I wanted to reach out to see if any members have a good place to start or any solid jetting specs when running at 5000 ft.+ in elevation? Btw, we also have a FMF pipe and shorty silencer along with a Boyesen rad valve.

We have already dropped the main jet down to a 300 and went 2.5 turns out on the air screw, this has all helped but still running pretty rich.

Have you ran through this thread yet?

Depends on all your starting points from CA, to CO and other factors. Someone in your new area may have around the same bike, but still end up different. Also, look at FMF and see what their starting point is for altitude.
