Birthday for my old X.

While my fork and shock are out for a full service and revalve is there anything else I should be looking at doing it's an 08 model and aside from regular maintainance read oil and filter, air filter etc. it's never been touched should I be doing head stem bearings (they feel fine). linkage and wheel bearings, perhaps a carby service? Countershaft seal is leaking a bit as well.

I would dis-assemble, clean, and lube the linkage bearings as long as the shock is out and rear wheel off.    Some anti-size on the chain adjuster bolts is also a good idea.   I'd also check the upper/lower chain rollers and slider for wear and replace as needed.    Note that the rollers are stiff when torqued properly.  Unbolt them to check if they spin freely and are still within limits.

This is all stuff you should keep up with anyway, but with the forks and shock out would present a good opportunity for checking.

Jim.
