What size mousse goes in a Pirelli mt-43 4.00 x 18?  Some say a 120, some say a 140.

Why would you want to run a mousse in a trials tire? You need to run like 8 psi max to make them work well and a mousse will simulate closer to 12 psi.

When Dunlop and Michelin changed their 4.00X18 Trials tires to a metric designation they marked them 120/100-18.

Strange since 25.4 * 4 = 101.6, not 120.

No one is using a mousse in these?

MT-43 is a nice DOT legal trail tire with trials-like abilities that can be ridden at road speeds. Mousse is not good for road riding. Oil and water.

It is an awesome single track tire in dry conditions. I live in the desert so not much mud to play in but lots of thorns and rocks for pinch flats.
