Pirelli Scorpion MT90 AT - Tire Pressure

Recommended Posts

I put on a set of MT90 AT's  on my CRF250l and am taking off on a ride from DC to Whitefish Montana next week. For the life of me I cannot find any recommended tire pressures for these things on the LRP for pure road use. I am thinking 28F and 32R? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure Marty but I can point you in the right direction. Hope you have a great trip bud.

28F/32R seems a bit high. I use MT90s on my CRF250L - they're great for 'back roads' use - and I usually run them at 25F/27R. This was guesswork, as, like you, I couldn't find any definitive pressure guide. The handbook says 22F/22R for the OEM tyres but they're much more 'knobbly' than the MT90s. (When I bought my bike, the previous owner had fitted Michelin AC10s which were very grippy off road but hopeless on road).  Some of the pressures quoted on the link above are for much heavier bikes - it may be a case of try it out.
