Hey guys. How do I go about softening my front forks On my 03 WR250F?  Have finally gotten out to ride the bike and am finding the forks are way too stiff. Supposedly set up for 200lb. rider. No way. Have hardly any compression at all. Thanks ahead of time.

If they are anything like my 04 yz250f there should be little clickers at the top of the forks under the bars turning it towards the S should help a lot. If not you should be able to get softer springs for the forks

First start by fully servicing the forks and making sure everything is mechanically functional.

Worn bushings will bind the tubes and make for a stiff/harsh ride,

while you're in there also look for any markings on the spring as to ID the spring rate.

If the springs are original to the bike, chances are they are too SOFT for you at 200lbs,

and you're actually riding lower in the stroke where the damping is getting stiffer.

60-75mm of race sag on the forks is a ballpark figure often suggested

but sometimes a bit difficult to achieve without going too soft.
